The final legal steps have been completed to enable Computer Medics of America®, Inc. to begin selling Franchises throughout the United States, Canada, and Mexico. After 5 years of operating a successful Mobile Computer Repair Business in Eagle River, Alaska John & Cheri Francis decided in 2001 to move to the next step and begin selling Franchises of it's successful company. This industry is a very difficult one to be in by yourself and was the biggest reason Franchising was chosen as the way to grow the business. In fact it is so difficult to survive in as a Sole Proprietor that Computer Medics will usually not allow a non-technical person to own a Franchise. All potential owners must have a few years of hands on experience in the industry. Certifications help but will not be required for ownership. Computer Medics, will also not be instituting Royalty Fees. Royalty Fees are more often used by other Franchise Organizations to promote sales of Franchises and to support a large staff of employees. Computer Medics feels that our Franchises will sell themselves and that a professional Sales Team is not needed to sell Computer Medics Franchise. Computer Medics will provide a Helpdesk Site, Technical Tools, Training, Forum, Marketing Tools, and much more to make every Computer Medics Franchise a success.
